How old do I have to be to rent a jet ski?
You must be at least 25 years of age to sign the rental agreement. Operators must be 18 or older with a valid driver’s license. Riders ages 16 to 17 may operate the jet ski with a valid South Carolina Boater’s License.
Do you deliver the jet skis?
Yes! We offer delivery to locations on Lake Murray within a reasonable distance. Our team will bring the jet skis to you so you can skip the hassle of hauling and launching.
What is included with my rental?
Every rental includes life jackets and a map of Lake Murray. Fuel is not included — jet skis must be returned with a full tank.
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, towels, a camera, cash, your driver’s license, a waterproof container, and a cooler with snacks and drinks.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes, a $300 refundable security deposit is required at the start of every rental. The deposit is returned when the jet ski comes back undamaged, clean, and with a full fuel tank. Charges for an empty fuel tank, excessive cleaning, damage, or missing items will be deducted from the deposit.
How fast do the jet skis go?
Our Sea-Doo GTI jet skis reach speeds of 50 to 55 mph. Each jet ski has a maximum capacity of 400 pounds or 3 riders.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
What are your rental prices?
Weekday rates are $175 for 2 hours, $250 for 4 hours, or $350 for a full day. Weekend rates are $275 for 4 hours or $375 for a full day. Holiday full-day rentals are $400. A $300 refundable security deposit is also required at the start of every rental.
Are towables or tubes allowed?
No. Towables of any kind are not permitted on our jet skis.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 7 or more days before your reservation date receive a full refund of the reservation deposit. Cancellations 3 to 6 days out receive a 50% refund. Cancellations 1 to 2 days out receive no refund. Inclement weather cancellations may receive a partial refund at the owner’s discretion.
Do I need to arrive early for my rental?
Yes. Please arrive at our office at 220 St Peter Church Road in Chapin at least one hour before your scheduled rental time. You will need to watch a safety video and complete the required paperwork before heading out on the water.
Can I ride to restaurants on the lake?
Absolutely! Lake Murray has several waterfront restaurants you can ride to for lunch or an early dinner. We provide a map of the lake with popular stops marked.
Are pets or service animals allowed?
Pets and service animals are not permitted on the jet skis.
Is there a restroom at your location?
Restroom facilities are not available at our location. We recommend using a restroom before arriving for your rental.
Where are you located?
Our office is at 220 St Peter Church Road, Chapin, SC 29036, right near Lake Murray. All riders check in at this location before their rental.
